The Beginning of More: Our Journey to Series B and the Road Ahead

Everstage was born from a very personal frustration-one that resonated with me and countless other RevOps professionals. So, when I jumped into solving this head-on for the RevOps community, I was clear about one thing. I wanted Everstage to fully unlock the unmatched potential of Ops teams across the world. This funding reiterates the difference we have been able to make in the work life of several thousand Ops professionals, and we are just getting started.

The Origin: For RevOps, By RevOps

In my previous experience, where I led Global Revenue Operations and Sales Compensation, my team and I were neck deep in the same commission challenges that we solve today for our customers. I remember our frustration: none of the tools in the market felt like they truly understood the nuances of what we needed. 

That’s when the idea for Everstage started to take shape. I wanted to build something that could relieve Ops teams from the grind of admin-heavy tasks, freeing them to focus on what truly matters: bringing strategic value to the business. With this vision, we built Everstage, a platform designed from the ground up by practitioners who’ve lived through those challenges.

But Everstage wasn’t just about making life easier for Ops teams. Sales teams, too, were struggling in ways no one was addressing. Imagine not knowing how much you’ll make until the end of the month—stressful, isn’t it? We knew that providing clarity around sales commissions wouldn’t just help them plan their finances better, but also boost their performance.

The Journey: A Dream Shared by Many

It’s been less than 5 years since Vivek and I officially launched Everstage. While we knew we would make a mark, we’ve grown far beyond what we had envisioned in those early days. Today, we’re the trusted sales compensation partner for Fortune 1000 companies, publicly-listed firms, and large enterprises across verticals such as Technology, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Healthcare, and more. But all of these accolades aside, personally what makes me super proud is the amount of trust that our customers have had on us. Safe to say, they're our biggest cheerleaders from Day 1.

The growth trajectory has been phenomenal. Vivek and I took some time to stop and acknowledge the fact that growth like this… is rare, and we cannot be more thrilled. Today, the future looks bright. We’re well-funded, we’ve a product that solves crucial Ops problems, and we have hundreds of customers to our name. Everstage is here to stay and we’re definitely going places together.

Series B: The Road Ahead

Our recent Series B funding marks a new chapter for us. With the latest round, we are doubling down on our investments to further enhance our technology, and create more value for our customers.

With the launch of our AI Agent Creation Studio, we’re setting the foundation for the future where RevOps and Finance teams build their own assistants to build reports, automate repetitive tasks, model plans and generate AI insights. We are also cognizant that sales compensation is not the only pain point for RevOps teams. We are working towards addressing other frustration areas for RevOps professionals that would ultimately empower them to drive strategic impact for their organizations.

We are also making significant investments in our customer success, support and in-house professional services team. We have been recognized as the company with the fastest ROI in this category, and we will ensure that our customers unlock even more value than we promised.

This journey has been one of growth, both for Everstage and for me personally. I’m grateful for everyone who has been a part of this—from our amazing customers who believed in us early on, to the Everstage team that has made this all possible.

We have big ambitions, and I’m more excited than ever for what’s to come. The future is bright, and together, we’ll continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of Sales Compensation and beyond.
